I must say that if there is one thing that I miss about living in southern California it is being so close to the ocean. On our quick, overnight trip to San Diego last weekend, we had the chance to spend a couple of hours on the beach in Carlsbad. The weather was warmer and more humid than usual and being on the beach with a nice breeze made us forget all about it.
